Actualmente la Coordinación Municipal de Protección Animal Los Cabos tiene en adopción a 15 mascotas rescatadas por maltrato, las cuales se encuentran en resguardo en el Campamento Tortuguero Don Manuel Orantes en San José del Cabo, dicha información la dio a conocer la titular de la dependencia municipal, Melissa Castillo Montaño, quien destacó que desde el inicio del programa en el año 2022 se ha promovido la adopción responsable, brindando a los animales acogidos una segunda oportunidad.
En ese sentido, explicó que las personas interesadas en llevar a cabo el proceso de adopción, podrán acercarse a las oficinas de la Dirección General de Ecología y Medio Ambiente ubicadas en plaza Aramburo en San José del Cabo y comprobar los siguientes requisitos: contar con un espacio totalmente cercado y apto para un canino, considerar gastos de vacunación, cuidados físicos y de alimentación.
Además, el adoptante deberá dar seguimiento mensual durante 6 meses a través de fotografías y videos para corroborar que la mascota se encuentre en buenas condiciones; asimismo, se debe entregar copia del INE, copia del comprobante de domicilio y se llevará a cabo la firma del acta de adopción, donde pacta sus compromisos como persona responsable de la mascota.
Una vez llevado a cabo el trámite administrativo y que laspersonas adoptantes hayan cumplido con los requisitos, la Coordinación Municipal de Protección Animal, programará una vista al refugio para que conozcan los 15 caninos que esperan una familia amorosa y un nuevo hogar.
